Skydive Palawan Is Now Open Year-Round

San Vicente, Palawan

A fresh chapter for skydiving in Palawan

Skydive Palawan is now operating year-round. We built this around one simple goal: give more travelers a chance to experience Palawan from the sky, not just during a short seasonal window.

If you've been waiting for the right timing, this update gives you more flexibility. Tandem operations continue throughout the year, with schedules still guided by weather, safety checks, and airport conditions on the day of your jump.

A clear brand clarification

Skydive Palawan is an independent operation. It is not associated with the now-defunct Skydive Greater brand, and it is not associated or connected in any way with Brad, Cody, and Asina Vancina.

For additional context: Skydive Cebu, Skydive Siquijor, and Skydive Palawan are under the Skydive Philippines brand, but each location is operated independently.

The founder story behind it

Skydive Palawan was made possible by Gibo (Gilbert Palmeras), a Palaweño student skydiver who grew up in Palawan and wanted to bring a new kind of adventure experience home.

Outside the dropzone, Gibo is also a software engineer, the founder of Diskubre Travel Palawan, and the developer of the current Skydive Philippines website. That mix of tourism operations and product-building experience helped shape a smoother booking and guest journey for Skydive Palawan.

Why year-round operations matter

Palawan keeps attracting global attention as a world-class destination, and travelers are looking for richer experiences beyond classic island-hopping itineraries. Year-round skydiving adds a high-impact activity to that mix while supporting local jobs, partner services, and longer planning windows for guests.

Built on safety, not hype

The long-term vision here is straightforward: grow responsibly, prioritize safety, and keep improving the guest experience. As in any aviation activity, conditions change quickly, and responsible operations always come first.
