Skydive Palawan Goes Full Year-Round: Operations Begin June 16, 2026 — Now with a Female Tandem Instructor

    San Vicente, Palawan

Two big updates for Skydive Palawan

Starting June 16, 2026, Skydive Palawan at San Vicente Airport is officially open all year round. And we're welcoming a female tandem instructor from New Zealand to our team — making it possible for guests who prefer jumping with a female instructor to request one at booking.

We've been working toward this milestone for some time. Year-round operations remove the seasonal window that previously limited when guests could book, and the addition of a female instructor broadens who feels comfortable booking their first skydive with us.

    Year-round operations from June 16, 2026

Skydive Palawan's official year-round operation begins on June 16, 2026. From this date forward, jump days are open across all months of the year, subject only to weather conditions and safety checks on the day of your scheduled jump.

This means whether you're planning a Palawan trip in peak season or visiting during the quieter months, you can build a skydive into your itinerary without worrying about whether the dropzone is open. Bookings are available at skydivepalawan.ph.

Welcoming our female tandem instructor from New Zealand

We're excited to welcome a new addition to the Skydive Palawan team: a qualified female tandem instructor from New Zealand. She brings with her the high safety standards and professionalism that USPA-certified tandem instruction demands, along with a warm and reassuring presence for guests who may be nervous about their first jump.

For guests who prefer a female instructor

We understand that for some guests — including Muslim women and anyone who simply feels more comfortable — jumping with a female tandem instructor is important. We now have that option available at Skydive Palawan.

When booking, you can request a female tandem instructor. We'll do our best to accommodate this preference based on scheduling and availability on your chosen date.

This is something we've heard requested by a number of guests over the past year. Having a female instructor on the team is not just about inclusivity — it's about making sure every guest feels genuinely comfortable from the moment they arrive at the dropzone to the moment their feet touch the ground.

Why this matters for Palawan's tourism

Palawan continues to attract visitors from across the world, including a growing number of travelers from the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Year-round operations combined with a female instructor option help ensure that Skydive Palawan is a genuinely accessible experience — not just for seasoned adventure seekers, but for anyone who has ever looked out a plane window and wondered what it would feel like to jump.

The combination of year-round availability and instructor choice makes planning a jump easier for more people. You pick the date. You pick your instructor preference. We take care of the rest.
